First off, congratulations!!!  You found your person, the milk to your Oreo, the butter to your bread, the sauce to your pasta. Second, thank you!!! The fact that you’re here means that you’re thinking about reaching out to work with us on your one-of-a-kind wedding stationary.  We can’t wait to get to know you and make your dream stationary a reality.

The first step is to fill out our custom stationery questionnaire.  You can let me know what you're looking for - custom watercolors, letterpressed illustrations, metallic foil.  Want a cocktail sign with the adorable face of your pet(s), done! Do you want the cutest illustrated wedding venue maps, check!  What about a custom crest that includes details of things you love, inside jokes, and little details from your relationship that make you smile, look no further!

So what does the design process look like?

Questionnaire and Consultation

Once you fill out the custom stationery questionnaire we’ll set up a time to connect over facetime, phone or in person.  I can answer all your questions and we can get to know each other!  After our chat, I’ll send over an estimate and timeline based on what we discussed. Upon your approval of the estimate, a deposit of 50% of your total estimate is due.  

Inspiration

Now that I know your vibe and what one-of-a-kind magical details that you’re looking for in your custom stationery, the creative process gets started!  You’ll get access to a custom portal that will keep all of our inspiration, documents and proof in one place.  I’ll create a curated look book that includes a color palette, inspiration images and an artist sketch of your invitation artwork and details.  

Design

Once your overall aesthetic and design are approved, I take over with making the sketches come to life!  At this point, I will need the final content to get started.  If you need help with wording and etiquette, just ask! We’re more than happy to provide examples and steer you in the right direction.  Two rounds of revisions are on the house, each additional proof thereafter is subject to an additional fee based on the time required.  

Approval

Once you sign off on the final design, it’s off to the presses!  Please triple check (have your mom, aunt, soon-to-be mother-in-law, check too) that all the spelling, grammar and addresses are correct.  

Once your design is ready, final payment is due and all your goodies will be shipped to your doorstep (or I will personally deliver them if you live in the Chicago area).
